   Remember to read for

   20 minutes every day!

4th Quarter - Online Style

We'll be studying poetry for the last unit of the year.  Students will analyze it to find the different ways writers use language to express thoughts and emotions in this genre.  Then they'll create their own poems to demonstrate what they've learned.

Each week, 2nd hour students will receive their lessons on Tuesday and Thursday, and 3rd hour students will receive theirs on Monday and Wednesday. They have the entire week to complete their work, but should submit it as they finish so I can provide quick feedback.

On Friday, students will receive a question or two about the week's learning.  It's important that they respond to the survey since that's how the district will know they're participating.
